The EP arrives alongside a key structural shift as BERTHAJU have officially signed to Shai Records, marking their transition from emerging act to developing roster priority. The rollout begins with the title track “5 Year Plan”, released May 6, described as leaning into a more grungy, punk-driven sound a noticeable evolution from their earlier indie textures.

Release shows often act as proof of concept or testing ground to add/try new elements. For Crimson, this one functioned as both arrival and activation while solidifying their presence in Brighton’s live circuit while building momentum around the EP rollout.

O’Hara (EP) is set for release on April 23, the project is positioned as a raw and expansive introduction capturing a range of sounds and themes that reflect the band’s identity in full.

The tour kicks off this May, including a confirmed stop at Leeds’ Hyde Park Book Club on 25 May 2026, Brighton, London, Leeds, Portsmouth and more.
