Some live moments feel bigger than the setlist and this became a reality when Ezra Collective brought out Kano alongside surprise appearance Fred again.. during their Alexandra Palace performance of 3 Wheel Ups / P’s & Q’s, it became less about genre and more about lineage jazz, grime, UK rap, electronic music all colliding in one room.

Kano performing P’s & Q’s already carries weight but hearing it reframed inside Ezra Collective’s live instrumentation shifted the context entirely the performance felt like a reminder that grime’s dna can still evolve inside live musicianship.
Fred again..’s appearance mattered for a different reason over the last few years, he’s become one of electronic music’s defining crossover figures but his strongest moments often happen when he positions himself within wider UK music ecosystems rather than above them.
Ezra Collective, Kano and Fred again.. mapped out how interconnected UK music culture has become past, present and future sharing the same stage.
